On a recent shopping trip I snagged some really good deals on a few pieces for my wardrobe and best part.... They are lace! I love adding one simple piece to an outfit . The key to keeping it chic is to stay with all classic colors. Think brown, navy, white, cream, black. Then pair with casual jeans and a belt. It never fails to bring in the compliments!

Sunny January!

The calendar reads January but my outfit is screaming "I'm ready for you SPRING!". My winter whites and golds all mixed together made me sparkle. I had to throw a tank under the sweater that was a smidge too big, but it was priced right, and I can make anything work.

Here is one of my new instant favorites. I've added a rose clip to my summer scarf that jazzed up a simple white t-shirt and jeans. The cherry on top, another matching rose and headband. I've got a whole bunch more headed your way. My new twin baby sisters were born on July 1, an early birthday present for me. So I have had my hands full being their personal stylist. Since everyone always wants to see the babies, I assume  you do too...

Rainy days like this remind me to be thankful for fabulous trench coats. Everyone should have this perfect accessory!

casual family dinner

Anyone think the birdcage is too much for the Cheesecake Factory? I didn't think so! You don't have to wait for a night in the big city to wear the big accessories. For anyone that was wondering, after this we went to see Soul Surfer. IT ROCKED!

Vintage Flair

I spent today shopping with my mom. Our goal was to find vintage pieces to fill the nursery with. But of course, my outfit had to match the day. Maybe I'll tone it down a bit for the Todd Farm flea market tomorrow, but this was the Sage Farm indoor antique sale, so I went with the feathered headband, leggings, plaid skirt and cotton blazer with a fabric rose. The golden flats left a nice blister,but as I always say..."Beauty before comfort"
